Promotes the establishment of student chapters in State Universities to encourage graduate and undergraduate student interest in the engineering and science of the water environment. Promotes academic excellence and leadership in environmental science and engineering. Provides an avenue for the exchange of information and ideas through networking and mentorship between students, faculty, and members of the IWEA and the Water Environment Federation.Established Student Chapters
The IWEA has established student chapters at Illinois Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
